Sleep is when your body does most of the work of repelling infections and healing damage, and not getting enough of it can make you feel worse. If you’re even starting to feel sick, go to bed earlier and try to sleep whenever you feel tired rather than muddling on through. There is no “magic number” of hours of enough sleep that will make you better, but usually, your body knows what it needs. Taking naps when you can and drinking soothing teas can help you get enough sleep.
